Dr. Danielle Ramseur-Fischer’s book, My Animal Counting Book 1-10, is a wonderful book that I read with my 6-year-old granddaughter, Kassidy. From the moment she saw the book her eyes lit up and she was very anxious for us to read it together. The cover illustration really captures your attention with the mix between the bright colorful, and calming neutral colors. The African American characteristics made it easy for her to relate to herself, and she enjoyed all of the friendly animal characters. Every page was inviting, and she was able to read with ease. Counting the animals was easy because they were spaced out enough for her to count using her fingers to touch the actual pages. The self-help instructions at the back of the book was very helpful and for parents this will be a great tool to use when reading any book. Overall, this book was enjoyed tremendously and will become a favorite in our household.

I LOVED the book! Where do I purchase? My son loves animals and counting! I think this would really benefit him. I wouldn’t change a thing! My son was diagnosed with autism. We have been working really hard with him and he’s doing great! He loves pointing out different animals and counting them if there are multiple on the page.
